Damn, i've only posted two races and i'm already calling a quits. Yesterday, i actually got a race, which at the time i didn't think would be much. I'm on my why home after taking a look at an 89 supra my friend might buy, this intrepid, newer model, don't know the year went flying by. This guy seemed angry. Well, i, pulled up next to him at the next light and when it turned green he gunned so i followed suit. I pulled on him like crazy at first about a car lenght, then when i get around 70, bad o2 sensor, my car is gonna go any faster than that. So he actullay began to pull on me, when my check engine light came on, (this sucks, i'm gonna change it weekend finally) but had to shut down becuase of traffic ahead, but this guy continues to keep going like an idoit!! I don't have great stopping power so, i had to shut down early. I almost lost to an interpid, no saying it's a bad car, just showing what kinda shape my car is in. Can't wait til next year though, 305 is coming out, L98 is going in!!

That sucks man, but it's no where near the same boat im in.

Put a 454 in my Nova, put about 150 easy miles on the car, and the transmission then tore up. After about a month and getting a new tranny in, I put another 100 miles or so on the car and the rear-end tore up, and that's where I'm at with the car now.

Gotta pay to play.

I'm in the same boat as well. Got a new turbo setup for the Camaro, but I'm doing the drivetrain mods to support it BEFORE i destroy my stock stuff. Don't want the hassle of setting it all up twice. All of this is slowing my project down by months. I want to drive my baby NOW dammit.

Damn right you do.

I know how most everyone here feels on that, yes I have a POS civic compaired to what most of you have, but I got a swap done and the trany went to hell 2 days after I got it, was a bad trany. But I delivered my new one yesterday, I too cant wait till I get my car back.
