1989 honda prelude rotor removal?

I cant get these front rotors off!!!
Can anyone please help me. I have the caliper off but I cant get the rotor off to change it. Do you have to take off the 36mm bolt in the middle or what. i have the screws out to..I think. I noticed everyone talking about the screws are they the ones between your studs?
PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I had the same problem when I changed my rotors.. and no, the only screws you had to take off, were the ones you already did, nothing with that 35 mm axle thing
The solution is simple really:
Get something like a baseball bat, sledge hammer, axe, hammer, something like that.. and whack the rotor on its edge around in a circle, if that doesnt get it loose.. whack it really hard in one spot, if that doesnt work.. keep whacking that one spot untill you see it move no the opposite end (this is what happened to me) I had to repeatedly pummel the hell out of the damn thing for it to slowly wiggles its way off.
Dont worry about breaking anything.. you wont, this is the most durable part of the car...

or if ur a sissy, i guess those holes, not the ones the screws were in, but the other, larger ones, ur supposed to be able to screw screws in there and that might pop it off too.

I second the hammer idea and add that if that doesnt work put some heat on it while you hammer

Don't hit the rotor with metal, put a piece of wood on it first. The hub is rusted to the rotor center. Maybe some penetrant would help. Heat on the rotor only works best. A puller is the right tool.

I beat rotors off all day with a dead blow Matco hammer. Just dont hit surface where the pad grips. Using wood only takes away from impact which is needed to get it off. If you are strong as an ox and magicaly break it, rotors are cheap enough. Im thinking if its that hard to get off it might be time for new ones anyway. Some part stores turn rotors. Have them mic them to see if they are turnable

Another way is to take some bolts of the same thread as the screws that came out of the rotor. And drive then into the holes of the rotor. It will push through and pop that rotor off. Ive had to do that a few times to save a rotor or two.
