i just need some info on a ticket i got, it was for driving on suspended license but i was on private property (my work which is was a car wash) and from my understanding on private property they cant get you for that. so my question is when i go to court for this ticket should i plead not guilty, guilty, or no contest, cause i really dont feel that i should have got this ticket but im not 100% sure that i can get it off my record. this is in florida so if anybody knows any help is much appricated

police can ticket anywhere that has unrestricted access to a public road. Yes, this includes parking lots, driveways, and private drives.

let's see, the first line of that previous post
"i got a ticket for driving under suspended license and i was driving on private property (at my work) and they still gave me a ticket for that and wreckless driving"
first line of this thread
"i just need some info on a ticket i got, it was for driving on suspended license"
by the way.
if i were you i'd be very happy that the place you work at hasn't fired you and just keep your stupid mouth shut.
god knows what kind liablity issues we're dealing with here....
they allow people with suspended drivers to drive a car even though they are repeat offenders AND already has a wreckless driving under his belt...

Let's consider this for a minute:
1) You cannot have insurance with a suspended license.
2) Your job cannot insure you if you don't have a license.
3) Lastly, you are driving other peoples cars (apparently wrecklessly enough to get a cop's attention at least once...possibly twice) without any insurance.
So my advice, stay out of other people's cars. Forget the ticket...if you get in an accident, the owner of the car can sue you and the carwash...and if it were my car, I sure would.
