Hi I have a 94 plymouth grand voyager and want to know ifi anyone is having a problem with fuse #16. Keeps blowing and van stops working...usually occurs after 30 minutes of driving. Took into Chrysler Service and they charged me 159.00..said they repaired wiring harness behind motor. Didn't fix the problem..they can't find the problem... After the van dies, I wait 30 min.s then put another 10 amp fuse in and it runs fine for another 30 min's.....can anyone help? Not sure who to trust with out paying an arm and a leg. Husband was troubleshooting the problem but was called offshore....so stuck home...relying on neighbors to get around. If anyone has any idea what to do...Please e-mail me at [email protected]. thanks.

I don't know if by this time you have solved your problem, but it looks more likely like a short in one of the cables involved in this particular circuit. That makes the fuse burn. If you get the Haynes Repair Manual at any auto part store for your car go to the electrical chapter and they will tell you how to diagnose a short.

Code search is very valid and can help, but a short is a short in any make of car, be it one with a computer or even the old ones without a computer.
