We are in the process of organizing the 2005 National Rally at the Point. The Mellon Center for MS Research at the Cleveland Clinic is our chosen charity.
I just found out that one of my organizers suffers from MS. I know the person involved would prefer to remain annonymous, since the only people who know are my organizers. I'm asking this board to show their support and help us in our fund raising activities. Anyone who is interested in donating e-mail me at [email protected] or [email protected] or send me a PM. Let's show the world what the Aztek and automotive community is made of. We all can help find a cure.
We chose this charity mainly because all of our organizers have friends or family members who have this dreaded disease. Last year we raised $700.00 with only 12 members in attendance. So far this year we have 32 members looking to attend for the weekend and hope to raise a lot more.

I wish you all the bet of luck.
I know how horrid MS is and how Genetic Engineering/Stem Cell research can and someday will bring a cure.

Get in touch with Igor (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/member.php?u=61) or Jacob (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/member.php?u=34021), the site administrators, maybe you can agree something with them, such as a forum-wide announcement. Igor rarely checks his PM's so send him an email.

On the yahoo Aztekowners site one of the members has issued a challenge to all members of that board. He has agreed to donate $1.00 for each Aztek in attendance June 24th to 26th including the 3 being brought by GM to the rally with a minimum of $20.00. Here's hoping someone else takes him up on his challenge.

MS is expensive to keep in check. My supervisors insurance pays $1200 a month for needle injections. Thats the only other form of medication.
