Re- releases....maybe....!?!

Just sifting through Tamiya kits on hobby search and it seems like they (Tamiya) are to re-release some older stuff, The Jaguar MKll, Morgan, fiat 500f, Citroen 2cv & the honda S800 are all down as July releases. a mistake maybe or is this old news. Damn.........i recently paid a lot of cash for my MKll.....:uhoh:

HLJ also list the rerelease of the 1/12th Datsun (Nissan) 240Z, both rally and road. Nice...

Excellent news. My sources tell me that the 240Z 1/12 models will be amazingly reasonably priced too at something close to $50 - $60 US. If so that is simply amazing value for money. Now if only Tamiy would tool up for some new 1/12 models. I would personally love to see some touring cars in that scale..

I've seen a good few Morgans, 2CV, Jag MK11 etc for sale on ebay. Good indication of some attempting to sell their kits before anyone notices they are being re-released. Lot of them in the UK,

Says it all really.. Tempted to bid, but I can buy a new one soon and this is one 1:12 scale kit I will be buying, along with the morgan 4x4. Already got the Jag Mk11, got them some time ago for £18.00.. Wished I had held of now.

That's one I really want to see reissued! I suspect they're too cheap to revise the decals/boxart for licensing reasons.

(Easy for me to say, I almost bought the Fiat at a model show over the weekend, but by the time I came back to the vendor it was gone. Now I feel quite clever for having missed it :cool: )
But oooh they're re-releasing several of the cars I've wanted and been unable to find - quite exciting!

Now if only the 695SS is re released that would be cool.

I wouldn't mind getting my hands on the Morgan and MkII myself. They go for a fair penny on ebay!!
