Alright i was wondering this the other day GM is supposedly the largest automotive manufacture in the world but when the compare GM to ford are they also comparing fords partners such as lincoln, mazda ,austin martin ,volvo, land rover, mercury, and jaguar i think thats all of them. That is just something ive been thinking about for a while just wondered if anyone new.

Well Lincolns and Mercurys for sure. The others though I don't think so as they don't outright own most of them just a percentage.
Incidently the last couple of years GM has outsold Ford (as usual) but Ford has made more money. That has GM rethinking things and they have dropped Oldsmobile and I think I heard something about Buick. They also dropped some lines. This is similar to Ford who really don't have that many lines anymore.
