Taking stock cd deck out of 2003 lancer

Hi Guys,

New to this site and just wondering if i can get some advice.

Just wondering how u guys got the original cd deck out of the dash of the new lancers ? ?

Looking at upgrading the stereo !!

Take off your cubby pannel under the stereo. Then pull off the dash section right around the stereo. Once you have that stuff out of the way take out the screws (one on either side and two on the back i believe). Then push down the security tabs if there are any and pull it out. Make sure your never gonna use it again though because it deactivates permanantly when it's unplugged.
