I was thinking of pulling the bulbs out of my fog light lenses and putting something better in there. I thought about silverstars, but they're $40 for a pair of the 880 bulbs that are in there. Anyone have anything they like, or any other suggestions?

It's not the bulbs that are the problem, I don't think. I think it's the design of the reflective housing they sit. It just not a decent interior design. There is more refraction then focus forward and so they are dispersed and lost before they make any difference. Can't wait til I lose one I'm putting either PIAA or BOSCH Driving lights in. I miss my old BOSCH ones I had. They were great...

Well, I just bought a set of new silverstars on ebay for my replacement fog bulbs. They cost under $20 shipped...

Could you let me know if it improves the Intensity of the stock Foggers?

sure. My main goal here was to get rid of the intense yellow color of the factory foglights. I actually looked to see if sylvania made any xtravision bulbs that could be used as replacements, but it does not seem that they do. The only replacement bulbs i could find were regular sylvanias, silverstars, and a bunch of crappy jap bulbs.
