service 4wd light

the service 4wd light came on on my 2001 durango, i have taken it to the dealer and they said the 4wd control module needed to be replaced. can i purchase this somewhere and where on the vehicle is it located? the dealer wanted over $400 to do this. thanks in advance

Remove the positive battery cable at the battery for 15 minutes. The computer will clear and the 4wd light will go out. Reset your clock and keep on driving. Savings = $400+.
