Im in the process of doing an LS/VTEC conversion on my 94' integra with all GSR OBD-2 spec parts. The question I have is after I do this conversion does this mean that my car is technically a GSR and I need to purchase a GSR exhaust system, turbo kit, etc?

no, your car would still be consiederd a ls...just because you changed the head doesnt change the whole car. you will have to buy ls parts to fit your car.

But what about motor bolt on's and internals? Won't I need to get parts that can handle the higher rpm's of a GSR motor compared to a LS such as pistons? Also what about an exhuast system isn't there a reason there are two different types of exhuast system for an ls and gsr? My motor would be putting out as much power as a gsr and would need an exhaust system to match the engines performance.

Camshafts, valves, valve springs ect... will be GS-R stuff. If you use the GS-R intake manifold you'll need to get a GS-R intake too. Exhaust will still be LS.

What about a turbo kit? Now that I will be running the gsr head and ecu, I'll need to get a kit for a gsr correct?
