Ok, I belive this is located just above the oil filter area.
The car is a 85 talon esi.
two questions...
How important is it?...lol
How do you get it off?
I unplugged the cap, looking for the oil pressure sending unit. The thing will not reconnect. The Haynes manual sucks, does show how it comes off. I have probably bent one of the male connectors and cant see it to straighten it.

I only see one bolt, I took it off and the black pastic "housing" peice will rotate about an 1/8th of a turn counter clockwise, but that is it, it doesnt pull out.

Yeah, the is it important part of the question was supposed to be a joke. I just can not figure out how to take it off/out. I am wondering if it has to do with the current position of the crank and if it has to be at TDC or something?
