lowering and wheels

this might be a stupid question, but i was looking at lowering springs (one that drops it 1.6 and another that drops 2.0) and i was wondering what size wheels would still fit without rubbing i was looking at 16" orignally, but would it fit? or should i just stick with 15", thanks
