Alright so my new TEIN springs came in today and im gonna put em in tomorrow hopefully. But i got a question. Theyre supposed to be a 1.2-1.5 inch drop but i dont wanna blow the struts right away, i should be fine with that amount of drop right? And my camber should be fine also right?

If they are the original struts then I wouldn't chance it. Why put them on to just have to do it again when you get new struts though?

you'd be better off getting the struts first but I don't think it will hurt for a little while if you drop it like its hot.

what shocks?? warrantee won't cover shocks blown with an altered suspension...learned that from KYB...they test to see

i'm gonna try and save up for the SS's

i got the front springs on wednesday night in about 1 hour, first took about 40 mins and 2nd took about 20. I didnt know how to use our spring compressor at work lol. The rears are even easier so they should be done in like 1/2 an hour. Ill probably do them tomorrow when i go to work. But its riding really nice in the front. Stiffer, but smoother. Cant wait to have em all in.
One thing some of the guys i work with complained about it that its not that noticable of a drop, for 1.5 inches you wont notice it much lol. But it looks good except for the fact that my car looks like a souped up camaro bc of the stance.

Sounds good. I rode with my car low in the front and high in the back and it was pretty sweet for medium speed mountain action... also, alleviated the twitchy-ness of drifting in the short wheelbase crx. I had 2 10" subs in the back that gave me an extra balancing. Now I don't have any subs, have the car set evenly front and rear meticulously set at the 8th thread on the sleeve but it's probably about 1.5-2". Anyway, drifting is twitchy so I have to "ass drag" now...

Looks like a nice clean drop to me. Is the ride smooth?

its just a 1 1/2 inch drop on TEIN s tech springs. Oh and yes its a nice ride. Its not as smooth as stock (little stiffer) but its not like most lowered cars ive riden in where you bounce off the road when u hit a bump. ALot more comfortable than my stock suspension. It still leans a little though =(
I found these things at pep boys which allow u to adjust your ride a little by twisting them into the springs to raise it a little. I figure that since it leans to the left side in the front then ill just pop one of em into the drivers front and itll be even.
Now i just need some 15"s to fill the fender wells.

Since this thread is on topic, let me ask... If I went out and got new struts and lowered my car all the way down about 2.5" or further with a camber kit with the same 14" wheels wouldn't my car still break loose due to oversteer? What makes it so special to have your car making out with the ground below it?
