i used to have 1996 chevy blazer with 17 inch modero volare chrome wheels on it. i now have a 2004 dodge stratus with 16 inch tires. can i put the 17 inch rims from the truck on to the car if the bolt pattern is the same ? or will i need to up the tire size on the car to 17 inch too ?

I highly doubt it will fit b/c the rim sizes are not the same, not to mention the tires. Your best bet, find someone who has an R/T Stratus that's wrecked and buy those rims, they came w/ 17" or even 17" out of a Chrysler 300M or Dodge Intrepid R/T.

Rims yes: If the bolt pattern is the same on both car. Now the problem your going to run into is the tires. Being that Blazer tires are thicker that what you want to put on a stratus. Now if you change the tires to some 45 or 50 series tires you shouldn't have a problem as long as the bolt pattern matches up.
