:confused: CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT ENGINE IS IN A 91 PRELUDE? I AM ABOUT TO BUY ONE. IM PRETTY SURE 4 ENGINES WERE OFFERED IN THAT GEN: B20A-2.0 DOHC FI.
B20A3-2.0 DOHC DUAL CARB.
B20A5-2.0 DOHC FI.
B21A1-2.1 DOHC FI
HOW DO I TELL WHICH ONE IS IN MINE? ALSO ARE THESE VTEC? I WAS TOLD THAT THEY ARE NOT.

you have the B20A5 and none of them are VTEC

Where the tranny meets the block on the front of the motor will be a small flat square that should read B21... They are not Vtec motors. I sold my 3rd gen and regret it everyday. They are fun cars man. Enjoy
