Have to get it up and running

ok someone is coming to look at my car next week... I recently been having problems with it... I would turn the key but it sounded like it was getting fuel to start. I put in a new battery.. still would take long to start (but it would start on the 3rd try) so i was told to put in a new starter put one in yesturday and it will start but it takes about 5- 10 sec to hold the key in to start... could it be the fuel filter????

My steering wheel sometimes sqeaks not when i first start to drive after a while then it will keep sqeaking when i go to turn, it looks like its right under the dash when the stearing wheel meets from the outside.. what could that be i sprayed it with wd40 but still sqeaks.. thanks any response i would like thank you.

Yes its for my blazer. I put in a new starter new battery, it starts now but i have to hold the key for awhile before it starts.
