Rookie

I've just recently got a 2002 Sunfire 2.2, 5spd. I really want to start getting some mods, but i'm not sure where or how i should exactly go about doing it. Another thing is that i have a tight budget for this, but will be making more money soon.

1. What kind of mods should I consider and does it matter what order i get them in?
2. Is it better to slowly acquire parts on a money basis or is it better to wait until i have more money and get them all at once?
3. Just out of curiousity, how exactly do sponsorships work?
4. I'd definatly rather have a smaller amount of good quality parts opposed to a lot of cheap crap. How can I find out the quality of a product and the right places to go to?
5. How do certain things affect the vehicle's warranty?

I have an idea of what I'd like to get, but not a lot of experience on how to go about doing it. I'd appreciate any input that anyone wants to give. Thanks a lot.

well, first off I think you should get an intake and then a decent exhast system. As for waiting to get them all at once, GOOD LUCK! I wish I had that kind of patience, but as soon as I get something, it's installed the same day. Places to buy...well you can buy the same stuff at many different stores online, the only big difference is the price between stores. For exhaust I would try to listen to a coule that are on sunfires to find the sound you are looking for. For the most part, most aftermarket exhausts will give you similar gains, so don't worry about a 1-2 HP difference. thanks for taking the time to reply. if i do get some stuff online, will most places install them for a relatively fair cost, or am i better off buying everything from a place that will do both?

if u are worried about the warranty u better check before u buy anything. i know from experience that if u do anything to the suspension it usually voids parts of the warranty. intake mods and exhaust mods usually dont but u need to check
