Hi,
How to access Regal's fuel pump area? Remove the carpet of trunk, close to rear seat? Unscrew a small cover over there?
Another question is, anyone has idea that the fuel pump of which year's Regal is same as 97 Grand Prix GTP?
The story is I have a 97 Grand Prix GTP, my fuel pump connector has some problem now, I would go to auto wreckers to get one from Grand Prix (97 -- 03), Bonneville (? -- ?) and Regal (? -- ?). I think they share the same thing.
Thanks a lot!

The '97 - '99 Buick Regal GS uses the same fuel pump as your '97 GP GTP. The one from the Regal LS normally aspirated model is not the same and from 2000 on up it changed.
Your procedure to remove appears correct. Good Luck!
