two 15s or 18

what would be better, and in which ways would one be better than the other?: two atlas 15s or one avalanche 18?

deepdning on what your looking for? SQ, SPL? whats your budget?

1 18 should need less space but 2 15's will be slightly louder when talking about the same modle. as far as 2 atlas 15's or 1 ava 18. well i have only has one experence with a single atlas 15 set up and my 18 wont be here untill June so... i cant really tell you SPL wise but as far as SQ goes both will be very accurate.

I'd take the single 18 ;)

5" P2P....i doubt even 12000w RMS could make it move that far in a ported box or reasonably sized sealed enclsore...

Waits for RE to release Supersub to make JH nerds stfu... it wont be as loud because they have similar linear movment capeabilities but we will be luckey if RE makes a supersub 18...let alone the cone area of a 22...

I sure as hell don't, I'll admit that, and yeah, it seems a lot like a waste of raw materials and money for the most part and maybe they'll only sell a handful, but really... An $8000, 320lb woofer has got to at least pound. Hell, you could strap two of their T92001 together and at least get the thing to break a sweat. :)
