Pulling the engine

I am having troubles here. I got everything labelled, pulled the cracked head off, un-bolted every engine/transmission bolt. But the engine just wont come out. This is the first time I have ever done a major mechanical job like this. The engine is loose, I see the engine moving when I hit on it, while the transmission stays put. I got alot of mud/dirt everywhere due to my offroading posing ability. Its a 1989 B2600i 5 spd manual ext cab. I was thinking maybe renting an engine jack supporting the weight, and maybe it will slide frontward easier to pull completely out. I wanted to save money and have a couple buds man handle this bad boy. I would think if I had all the bolts it would slide out and up. I unbolted all the engine to trans bolts, marked and labelled every wire. What am I missing?

.....and I got the 2 engine mounts. :)

you need an engine jack, you have 2 support the tranny with a floor jack than jack the engine up and pull straight out cause you gotta slide the input shaft out of the engine and pressure plate clutch assembly
