Yeah I just wanted to post my slip from Saturday night since its the quickest run I've ever made.
This was from the 2nd round eliminations.
DISCLAIMER: Even though the slip says 1/8th ET, its NOT a 1/8th ET!!! Its 330 ft. So before anybody starts calling BS on a 4.403 1/8th ET with only a 1.480 60, now you know!
http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/500/1591221_48_60_ft_and_4_40_330-med.jpg
On a side note, I would have loved to have had that pass at say Clay City, KY or Bristol, TN, becuase it would have probably been a 1.39-1.42 60 ft and a 4.25-4.30 330 ET and in the 6.60 range at about 102 mph or so for the 1/8th becuase this track is always at least a tenth off of those tracks.

Lol. Yeah right, lol.
I did see a pretty bad street car that same night. It was a late model Camaro, LS1 of course. Its had a "few mods" (may as well been a racecar, lol, I mean this thing would probably run circles around a C5 Z06 and they're pretty tough!). Anyways, the guy drove it in to the track, put on a set of slicks and some skinnies up front, and it ran 4.95. That's pretty impressive to say the least. That would probably be a true 11 second street driven car.
I think he had a 1.69 60'.
Back to my bracket, that pass was against a very nice looking 68-70 model Nova (I think it only weighs around 2200 or 2300 pounds--probably should have ran a little better then it did--if mine weighed 2200 or 2300 lbs, it'd be a high 3 second car at this track). And then the very next round, I redlighted against a rail (dragster) that was dialed in 3.48. He ran 3.470 against me. I think his 60' was like a 1.2 something, lol.

Thanks.
Its wierd becuase I really can't tell any difference in running 4.40 to running 4.61 (my best from the first race), but man I can sure tell a difference from my previous best 60' (1.523) to this 1.480! And even with the old 1.52 60, my 330 was like 4.45 or 4.43 or something, lol.
I dont know how to explain it, but I could really tell the car was hitting hard Saturday, and when I had my 1.48 60, I could really tell the front wheels were up! Always before I couldn't really tell it other then just than when it set them down. But on that pass, I coudl actually tell the front end was up.
So yeah, I can tell a big difference in how the car launches now, even though I only gained about .4 hundredths in the 60, lol. Can't tell it so much on top end though.

Put on a Tri-level wing from Pep-boys and an Mugen exhaust and you'll run 9's!
 Good Jorb!! (http://www.homestarrunner.com/cantsayjob.html) Matt!
