66 Chevelle instrument lights

Anyone have any experience with the instrumentation back lighting? I have a 66 SS396 and am finishing restoring the interior. I can't seem to get the dash lights to work. There is no power at the fuse for the dash lights (seems odd) All other fuses have power. The dash blinker indicators and the dash brake and bright light indicators work. I've ordered a new headlight switch to see if that is the problem??? Any help would be appreciated.

Usually the rheostat part of the headlight switch goes bad. Pretty common problem.
