87 Cherokee, 4.0L, auto wont start. Here are the symptoms:
Turn key to start and nothing happens. Radio, all gauges, and all lights working fine. Checked all ground connections, they all check out good. Battery connections are clean and tight. After leaving the Jeep parked for 10 to 12 hours and not doing anything to it, you can go out to start it and it starts right up. I am thinking that it is the ignition switch...any thing else it could be???
Thanks

http://www.4x4getaways.com/XJRelays.jpg here are the relays they're mounted in a row next battery. check the relay next to battery has 4 wires on it. its for starter one of the 4 relays is one for starter also. cables from battery may have corroision inside causing voltage loss. dale :disappoin :naughty:
