a/c problems

Just wondering if anyone has seen this problem? My 2001 Cav just started to vibrate alot anytime I turn on the A/C. The A/C works fine (nice and cold) but the car make a noticable amount of more noise and shakes? Any ideas?

First thing I would check is your compressor. If it is seizing up that could put a lot of pressure on the serpentine belt and maybe shake things up a bit. IF that is the case your AC may not work much longer.
