Starting Issues

Hello,
My 99 Ranger is having a small problem, when it sits for a few hours or overnight the first start is a little rough. By rough I mean it will start and be a little under 500 rpm for about a second or two, then will jump up like it should to being with. It drives fine, I have changed the air filter, and cleaned the throttle body good so it looks new (a good amount of carbon on the plate and inside). I have a new set of plug and wires and a fuel filter to install probably Monday I'm hoping. If anyone has suggestions please let me know I like to have my vehicles in tip top shape.
Thanks,
Jason
