last friday i woke up a little late for school so i decided to skip and went out by my moms house on il. route 25. and i put 93 octane in the car i was drivina995 buik lesabre with the 3800 tuned port injection V6 (hats right Camaro V6) with aruond 200 horses i get to a light and this little ricer in a early '90s teg with a 4cyl puls up next to me, sounded like it had a hole in its exaust im minding my own busines and the light turns green i take off like normal and he tries to peel ou and starts moving like a bat outa hell. so i kept up with him and we come to another stop light i look ove at him and the light turns green i emeediatly put his bumper by the back door and thats were he stayed till around 60mph. i was like that wasnt soposed to happen. next light comes and we go again same outcome. damn that buicks fast for a grandma car.
about two hours later i got into an accident. went to pass three cars and the third was turning left. damn that sucked.
oh if any one has an b16 for sale i want it name the price.

I don't think the V6's came with with tpi, only 3rd V8's, and i beleive that the 3800's are actually buick motors. Correct me if i'm wrong.

This thread has a picture of a manifold that says 3800 TPI. I don't know anything about LeSabres but I think this is the same engine he's talking about?

its a lesabre custom, the only buik with that engine. im looking for a b16 cause i bought a 1992 civic hatch, its got a 5spd and the 1.5L inline 4, 16 valve, and will soon have a performance exaust and intake. i want the b16 for later, the engine in it has 197K miles on it so when it goes out i need a new one.

Hmm, 3800 TPI v6, sure is a Buick engine, but since it's a custom, I don't know. My olds has that same engine but only puts out 170 horses. You were taking that Teg easily because of your tourqe, something honda/acura doesn't always seem to have in the smaller cars. Nice race. Sucks about the crash though.

cool kill. its funny how you say, "this little ricer in a early '90s teg with a 4cyl puls up next to me." I didnt know there were integras that had engines larger than a 4 cyl

It's injection system is setup differently than the one's in the V8 camaro's and what not though. And no it's not the same engine as the V6 camaro's, all the internals are different and the RWD 3800's are a bit torquier than the FWD's.
