Chicago/IL civic/crx meet during HIN

We have a meet setup june 11.
We are going to meet in Schaumburg around 4 at Sears parking lot across from Woodfield Mall then go to Busse wood park for a bbq then go to Hooters/Woodfield (also in Schaumburg) around 8 or 9. We will cruise out later on probally down to Lake Shore Drive. post up if you wanna come.

I need a good excuse to go to Chicago to visit my Brother. Let me know when and where you are having it. What is HIN? Isn't there a Park right on one of the great lakes there. Anyone know if it would be possible to have there. I haven't been there so i am not sure how crowded or how big the parking lot is, but there has gotta be a place around there somewhere.

June 11 is when the HIN show is in chicago. I personally don't want to go to HIN but just have a meet.

I'd be down... no idea for spots though, only been to Chicago once. I know I could get at least a few Honda's to roll up there though

so far i got myself (89 CRX SI B16 swap) and my friend (95 Del Sol, cosmetics) definately comin. it's all about finding people up for a kick ass road trip haha

lets spread the word, some suggestions i got were at the Woodfield mall just outside of Chicago or
"I'm gonna suggest the shopping center @ 75th and Lemont in Downers Grove( Near the Tweeter Store) Its a HUGE lot...plus theres a decent hot dog place there Kozy Corner... easy to get to and great access to the highways and toll roads ( I 88 to the north, I 355 to the west and I 55 to the south)". Any other suggestions, maybe we get some grills up there too.

Just a heads up, but make sure it's a place that has restrooms close. Went to a meet one time and there wasn't a public bathroom for like 10 or 15 miles. So as the day went on people were getting car pools together to go and find a bathroom. Just something to consider.

shamburg sounds good there by hooters at woodfield and it easy to find for everyone. If you want i can get alot of cars there but mainly german let me know

Just waiting on someone from schaumburg to scout out the park and see where we will meet. There is a couple peole from schaumburg coming as well. Too bad it's June 11th I live 10 min from there and used to hit busse woods all the time on my bike/cars. That weekend I'll be at the NHRA races.

From Woodfield on 72 heading east, you'll want to turn at the first right after u go under 53/290. Cruise back in there a little bit and you will see all the cars & bikes already hanging out there. The cops are pretty stiff you do dumb shit, like burnouts for example. You can't make a left out of there(back towards woodfield) head east(right) down 72 and make a u turn and the next busse woods entrance on the left, I'm sure you will see many other people doing it.

Where that red line starts, thats the road you do down. You can tell your in the right area once you begin to see burnout marks.

where do u live jackass i am like 10 min. away too. I live in glendale heights just south of shamburg. do you hang out at the streets ever. I did when i first moved up here but now i go to gary and sheick by straford it is a whole lot better.

This meet is turning out to be pretty big. Estimating 40 people/cars and thats not including their friends cars. A few from here and more from honda-tech are coming out. We will shut down the city.....
