Cherry Bombs are a glass pac muffler. If you don't have a problem with noise and the law there less restrictive than stock but I think there's better ones out there and quiter.

ok well i kno what glass pac is. i like sound and i want peoplpe to know i am there but i dont want it to sound like shit! i was just gonna get a high flow cat and add a 3 in flow master muffler for a t-type but i am not sure what will give me more hp and will sound better!

Well don't expect swapping cats and catback/mufflers to make that big of a difference in your hp....Generally, you can expect about a 15hp difference if you swap it all. If you just do mufflers and a hi-flow cat, it will be less. However, yes they will make your car louder.

I'd say being your only concerned with the sound, I'd get a tape deck, amp and 2-12" sobwooflers, then tape the sound you like and play it so everyone well know it's you, u kno what i mean?

I would guess a lot depends on the car on which you plan to put the mufflers. On a V8 they sound nice and raspy with a very open 70's sound. On anything else they sound like total junk in my opinion. They are also of a very old and inexpensive design which doesn't flow very well. Technology has come a long way these days.
I might suggest either flowmaster 30s, 40s, or Borla makes a bullet race muffler that sounds pretty nice behind a V8. If we're talking about a four cylinder, chances are the stock muffler flows better than you'll ever need.

Flowmasters typically don't flow too well, but they sound a lot better than glasspacks. No cat always sounds like crap.

I know its a personal taste thing, but I never liked the sound of a "performance" exhaust on a 6-cylinder. They sound poopy to me. There are ways of getting free-flowing and quiet, but if you're in it for the sound, my personal opinion is to keep a V6 quiet.
