What kind of oil??

I live in Sarasota, FL...what kind of oil should I use?? 10w-30?

10w-30 for summer, 5w-30 for winter. Since you have no winter, use 10w-30.

If you run 10w-30... stay with 10w-30 year round. The turbo and bearings dont like when you change things like that. Just like going from synthetic oil to non synthetic oil... It pisses them off and has be believed to cause spun bearings.

yeah...motors don't like changes in oil. i went from non-synthetic to synthetic and it knocked like a motherfucker. put some lucas oil stabilizer in and it fixed it up good.....until i added too much one oil change and it burned up my head. shit's too thick for our motors
