Alternator

How much should I pay to have my alternator taken out and a new one put in? Also how hard would it be to do it myself. It seems to be in a tight spot and I really dont know about the belts.

Yes, it's very dooable, but tight as you said. Do you have a Chilton's Automotive book? I can't do without them.
