Could this be a fuel pressure problem?

My Metro has had all kinds of things done to it... tune up, fuel filter, comp. check (180-190psi), pcv valve, cat check...

I can't get any power out of this pig. NOTHING?!? I can't even hold 65 heading up some hills on the way to work. My 94 XFi preforms WAY better and it only has about 95-100psi compression. Anyone know if this coulc be a bad fuel pump or something? I dont know what the heck else to check. I checked the timing by the methods in the Haynes book... turn crank to mark, check against distributor possition. All looks good.

Any ideas? I want to keep this car, I just dont know whats wrong :-(

Is the idle ok? plugs, wires, and such changed? Did you check the timng w/a timing light? My metro gets doggie if the plugs get a little worn. Being so small they can get touchy sometimes. check for vacuum leaks. don't throw in the towel.

190psi?!?! A swift GT with 10:1 pistons brand new only has 185psi. It should be around 165psi. Something's not right. Perhaps there's a ton of buildup in your cylinders? Also, check your distributor timing with a timing light.
