Intermittent Wipers

I have two CRV's, a 2001 and a 2004. Both have the three stage intermittent wiper system. We had a 2001 Accord that had the completely variable wiper system and would like it on our CRV's. In another Honda forum I read about a way this could be done but it was applied to Civic's. Does anyone know of a process to change out the standard system for a completely variable system ???
