Oil Capacity for 3.3

Can someone tell me the oil capcacity with new filter for a 1993 skylark,
with a 3.3 engine. Thanks for all replies.

Sure can, zoris. Its 4 quarts for the engine, 1 quart for the filter. :smile:

1/2 quart too much. Its 4.5 quarts with filter. Add 4.5 quarts and check the level after 30 minutes of sititng with the engine off.

I changed oil and filter with 5 quarts and dipstick was reading high.
I thought at first I didn't drain all the old oil. Thanks for clarifying flatrater..
