yea, that damn truck got in the way hah. if he wasn't there it would have been great. we took a few vids from a couple nights ago but that's the only one that came out good. there was a point where i raced the r1 and he was toying with me, he brought his bike up and down about 5 times doing a wheelie right next to me, but i couldn't get it on tape. we did get one on tape of an in car of me racing it flat out, but it was my friends cam so ill have to try to get it from him.
i just picked up my cam yesterday so hopefully ill have much better vids to come :)

Sure it can....
If you leave it in first gear and push it out the back of a Airplane at 13,000ft. It'll go to 100mph easy.
The fall itself won't damage the bike, it's the sudden stop at the end that always gets ya.

I wonder if that guy thinks his car is fast enough?

(in reference to the 2004 Yamaha R1)...Hence, this is the first R1 to receive a ram-air system and a close-ratio gearbox that gives a first-gear top speed of nearly 100 mph! the 05 is supposed to be even faster. Liter-bikes are no joke.

Yeah, the same numbers as a McLaren F1 for only $10,000.

might match the acceleration of the mclaren but i hear the top speed is right around 200, mclaren's is around 242 so still a good deal, hell yes in my own opinion, you dont' get the extra seating nor, the much different driving enviroment but in my opinion definitely one of the better buys on the market and my own personal choice for a bike if the funds would allow it at this point

production street bikes are governed at 181 mph(300km/h). considering that it can do nearly 100 in 1st i'd bet it could do well over 200 if top speed weren't limited. i can't imagine anyone wanting to go that fast on a bike though.

the s14? he's my friend.
he won't stop modding until he gets the bike. he's considering swapping out the sr for an rb engine.

I'm considering getting a bike after I get my next car, just for a weekend rider type thing. Of course, it'll probably kill me, becuas instead of doing hte smart thing and going out and getting a light bike, and building up confidence, I'll just go get me a Bussy. Or not. I'm not ready to die yet.
