Breaking Lugs

Anybody else having this problem? I've had two lugs break on me, and there are a couple more that feel like they might be close. I've only had the truck for about a month (its a 2002 by the way). I'm just curious if the lugs are weak for some reason, of if I'm doing something wrong (which is possible).

The lugs get weak from fast-repair places using air guns on them and stretching them. If you only torque them, they will never break.

Thought it might be something like that. I've never broken lugs on any other vehicle, and I'm not doing anything significantly different... except I'm actually torquing them instead of just getting them as tight as I can.
Its kinda weird, they all feel real good on the driver's side, but there are a couple that feel like they're close to breaking on the passenger's side.

Have you ever let anyone at them with an air-gun, or have you tightened them without a torque wrench? All it takes is once.

I've only had the truck for a month, so who knows what was done with it. I've taken the wheels off twice (once to rotate, once to replace the lugs), and I've used a torque wrench both times. I'm just glad its fairly easy to replace them.
