no boost!!!

i have a 97 eclipse rs with a t3 t4 turbo kit.My car wont build boost. the wastegate is not stuck open, and my greddy bov works.there is no exhaust hooked up to it yet...is that the prob???? help me please

You could have a boost leak. Tighten up all your fittings and hoses. You could also try and make the boost leak tester - http://vfaq.com/mods/ICtester.html

Make sure your boost guage is connected too. Last week on the 2g I thought I had a mean boost leak. Just forgot to connect the boost guage line ;) Have to start with the simple things... After that, boost leak test is the next logical step if you can be sure the WG is working.

should my car produce boost without an exhaust hooked up? i checked over the lines theres no leaks that i could find. my guage shows vaccumm and when i get on it it stops right at 0. anything else?
