headrest removal?

How do I remove the headrest in a 98 cavalier z24? Im putting the shocks on the headrest arms but i cant figure out how to get them off? Any one know?

If you stick somthing small down into the hole where the headrest bars go into the seat there is a little latch that you have to push to get them to come off
