Today as I shut the hatch on my 92 240 the glass shattered into a million tiny pieces. So I now need a new hatch anyone out there who is getting rid of one or no somone who is please let me know I have 150 bucks. I will drive to get it if its close enough.

lol yea, you need the glass not a hatch. But in this case buying a whole new hatch would be cheaper. Especially for 40 bux. But then youd have to paint it. So i guess if you dont have the hook up on paint work. Then do some shopping to see how much total everything would cost for new glass and install....compared to a new hatch and painted.
All i know is the dealer ship wanted 400 dollars for a brand new rear quarter glass window, i can only imagine how much a new hatch glass would cost.

You don't have to paint it.

he wouldnt have to paint it at all, he could jus take the glass out and swap it into his, or if mine is in better shape then his he could just get it painted. still finding someone to paint a hatch for cheap shouldnt be too hard. and you figure if you dont want the hatch you can still take out the glass and turn around an try sellin the glassless non rusted hatch. whether you'll get anything or not i dunno, but $40 for glass/a hatch aint bad considering i paid $60 for it
