98 accord 4-cyl information

For those who are wondering, the stock cast iron wheels+tires+air on a 98 accord 4-dr 4-cyl weigh approx 42lbs.

dear GOD, what's shocking is how much a 17" alloy wheel+rubber+air will weigh. not much less, unless it's OZ SuperLeggera or the new line from CenterLine Wheels (15lbs on a 19", DAMN!!!)

well, my motegi MR7's with yokomo avid H4 tires weight 52 lbs total w/air. What's better is that they don't peel out and the ride is much more comfortable. I don't feel a big difference as far as get up and go is concerned. My car look's a whole lot better too. I'll put a picture up soon.

52lbs? What size rims did you get?
215/225 series tires weight about 23lbs, so your rims weight 29lbs. :eek:
