Security on 1990 GTS

Need help on Toyota Secutiry System in a 1990 GTS. I can't figure out how to deactivat the system once it has armed itself. It winds up locking our the starter and I can't finish putting the car back together. If anyone is familiar with this system please PM me or post on this thread.
