Fuel injector problem --HELP

I pulled my 2.8 6 cyl engine, replaced the oil pan gasket, dist cap, plug wires and valve cover gaskets and cleaned the engine of any grime and re-installed the engine.
It turns over fine but won't start. The fuel pump is delivering fuel but the fuel injectors are not spraying. It will run when the carb is primed. The injector wiring goes directly into the harness behind the engine.
Where do I start checking to get the injectors functioning again?
