Well, I got a nice present in the mail the other day, my new set of CDT EF-61's. They are a 6.5" midbass driver and a 1" silk tweet. Thanks to Don over at Island Sound, and NG for telling me where to get them...

They are going in fiberglassed kickpanels when I find time to make them, and are going to be fed 100watts rms when I get the amp all figured out. This should make my truck sound a hell of alot better now.

Make those kicks AS BIG AS YOU CAN, mid bass will suffer severely if they aren't large enough.
Don told me they need .25-.35 cubes each.

I'm wondering how my CDTs will sound in my crappy stock "ported" enclosures... I haven't got an amp on them yet, but hope to soon. I don't know how much volume is in those enclosures, but I doubt it's .3 cubes. Any tips aznx? I may have more time to build something for my doors this summer.
Oh and I finally figured out how to get the door panels off... but only after breaking some things on the front passenger one. The door handle/lock switch assembly was so sticky that it didn't feel like it could move to the left, but that's how they come off. Arg.... I'm kicking myself for not trying the different directions harder.
Looking at your pics, I'm surprised that you got the satnet 460 (480? can't read it) crossovers with those EF's... I got the better 560's with my 5.25" EFs. Of course, Don just threw my stuff in a random box and gave me a huge discount, so that may have something to do with it.
Looks good, I'm sure you'll enjoy them!

well cdt told me atleast .3 cu.ft. otherwise the midbass might not sound it the way u want it to
also for ur accord, did u break the 3 tabs on the inside door handle? in order to take them out, u gotta slide it to the left or right, then it will just come off
i broke both sides because the first side.. the 3 tabs broke off and fell, so i didnt know wtf happened, the second side it broke but the pieces stayed on so i saw it and.. well had to get new ones
if you broke them, then just find a junkyard in your area, i got another pair from the junkyard for $30 ($15 per side), make sure they get the exact color u need
and imo, if you have ur door deadened the midbass will come!
no seriously now, after sr20 told me, i deadened my door, and the midbass increased a grip
also, there is no need to deaden the WHOLE door, all you need is to get a large area around ur speaker itself, because i noticed that right after i deadened the area around my speaker, the midbass was already there.. but i just finished the whole door since i had a grip of deadening left, after i finished the rest it didnt sound much different, so i came to that conclusion

Well, the one I broke already had a huge crack in it, so I figured what the heck. It's sitting in my car gluing back together now. Luckily for me, I figured out how it worked after the first one, and second one I tried come off like a charm. I'm hoping I can just use the one that's gluing, especially if I can find the other pieces that broke and glue them back on too. I'm hoping that the glue will be as strong as the original plastic. It's dang tough stuff I think.
I tried a few places in town today, looking for deadener, but didn't find anything. I'm looking for something that I saw on another forum (I can't remember the name of it, but I saved a picture somewhere). It looked really nice. Strechy, sticky and thin enough to fit in my doors. Fairly cheap too. I'll look some more tomorrow while I'm job hunting. Yes, I have a job, I just want a new one (my boss is a p.i.t.a.!!).
Also, does anyone know of any where online to get decent quality 20' RCA audio/video cable (you know, stereo sound and video in one cable, with 3 RCA connectors at each end). I want 2 to run to my 5 channel amp.

I got my 5.25" set at 150 shipped, tho as I said before, it was without factory box. They sound good, as far as I can tell, but we'll really see at the end of next week when I get my amp :)
