TPS Trouble

Anyone have any ideas about what to do when throttle positioning code 7 repeatedly comes up. I have changed the throttle body and sensor. I also went to check the voltage at the wiring harness and found the colours weren't as the book had them. The TPS wiring has the correct colours but the vehicles wiring harness has totally different colours. By ling them up the voltage is running at 5 volts from green to white and not red to green as the manual states.
Anybody have any ideas?????

If I have to venture a guess it is that you have to clear the code stored in the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). When the PCM sets a trouble code, the CHECK engine light will come on and the trouble code will be stored in memory. The trouble code will stay there until the voltage to the PCM is interrupted. To clear the memory, remove the BACK-UP fuse from the fuse/relay box located in the right side of the engine bay for at least ten seconds. Unplugging this fuse also cancels your radio preset stations. These directions are directly out of the Haynes manuel. Hope it helps.
