oxygen sensor

hi all,.. sorry i have many questions but im new to bmw e39 528i 98 model, i hane baught the car but i realized later that ther is no oxygen sensors, so is this has disadvantages to the car or leave it ....thnkx

Hi, Ashraf, and welcome.
If you remove the oxygen sensor, the car will still run, but the computer runs the motor in the 'closed loop'. That means that your motor will waste more fuel, since the computer doesn't have the information it needs to adjust the engine properly.
Some people put on a performance exhaust and just decide not to install an oxygen sensor.
So, it's going to cost you more in gas...and you'll probably be creating extra pollution.
