Car caught on fire!

Today my car shorted and caught on fire under the dash inside of my 1995 grand prix GTP. luckily a car came by that got a fire extinguisher and got the fire out, but by that time it melted a whole in the dasy about 6-8 inches wide and there was nothing i could do anymore :mad:

Sorry to hear about your car. Sounds like that elec. trouble you have in the dash was what started it.

What year is your grand prix? It sounds like you may have blown a built in amp.

hey sry to hear that i also have a 95 gp i was jsut wondering if ur gonna fix it or wut r u gonna do with the car if u dont

I am going to pull off the dash and check out the damage that has been done. If I can fix it I will, but if too many wires are gone or somethin major burned then im gunna part it out probably. if anyone is interested in parts or have any questions please email me at [email protected] it is a 1995 GTP with the 3.4L DOHC engine.
