Are the early Mazda B2000 doors and fenders in the 1980 to 82 trucks the same as the 1980 Ford Courier parts?

Hey man, here is the low down... I have found that several body parts and engine parts are interchangable. The interior parts and grills are not. If you look at your front fender behind where the little rubber bumpers come around from the front bumper, you will find an indention for where the courier running lights go. The Mazda's are higher (above the rubber bumper pieces) and the Courier's are lower. On my 1984, I have thought of putting on Courier fenders but I just took off the little rubber bumpers and relocated the running lights to the indention. I then welded up the holes. The hoods should interchange as well as beds, windshields, doors, back windows, (all of the glass on the truck) and the suspension parts. I even am planning on putting a valve cover off of an 1981 on my engine. It looks the same as ours but it doesn't have the indention for the breather to go across. I am planning on running a weber carb again and using a smaller air cleaner. Hope this helps, Let me know if you have any further questions. Keith.
