how to clean my 2000 throttle body

hey guys i was wodering if you knew how to take off the special locking rings for my 2000 bird??? I men i know how to but there is a screen there....Can i just spray through that? (I'm think that that is a bad idea) but any comments are welcome..

Is this a V6 or LS1?

ls1...i was trying to work around that but i guess i could do it. Thanks tho
