ok, i just replaced my coils and struts. i went with aftermarket coilover springs and the oem gas struts. now in my rear passenger wheel well i hear a knocking noise when i'm driving. when i hit the brake it seems to go away. my brake light on my bezel gauge is on also. can anyone help me out here??? i took it to National Tire and Battery where a few of my buddies work and one of them said it could be the e-brake cable inside the caliper. i've had that caliper changed twice already. and i don't really have much grab to my e-brake. thanks for any info you can give.

The following if from a 1992 Probe Shop Manual -- so it may not be applicable to your 1993.
Here is the copy/paste
o Rear Suspension Rattle Noise (GT Only)
Possible Source(s):
§ Inadequate rear strut sound insulation.
Action(s) to Take:
§ INSTALL insulator. REFER to the «procedure» in this section.
Here is the 'procedure' copy/paste.
Rear Rattle (GT Only)
A rattling noise in the rear quarter panel area may be caused by inadequate rear strut sound insulation. Refer to the following procedure for insulator installation.
1. Fold the rear seat back down and remove the luggage compartment cover.
2. Remove the upper luggage compartment side trim panels.
3. Position the insulator assembly (E8FZ-18A179-A) on the strut tower.
4. Mark the location of the adjustable suspension actuator wire harness and remove the insulator.
5. Cut or slit the insulator for proper actuator wire harness routing clearance.
6. Position the insulator on the strut tower.
7. Secure the actuator wire harness in the slit made in Step 5 and fully seat the insulator assembly over the strut tower.
8. Apply body tape over the insulator center hole.
9. Install the upper luggage compartment side trim panels.
10. Position the rear seat back and install the luggage compartment cover.
Does the hind end of the car shake as it goes down the road? If so, you may be well advised to check the bearings in the passenger rear wheel hub. Is the knocking sound regular? Does the knocking increase with vehicle speed and/or over rough roads? Is something loose in your cargo compartment?
