Project for this summer from a disturbed mind

OK so my friends say I am out of my mind for wanting to build this project. I know that this is the AUTO forums and I am asking about a motorcycle but bear with me, the custom bike I am building needs a donor car and that's what my question concerns.
I want to build a motorcycle with a diesel engine. I thought about several manufacturers: Mercedes Benz, Isuzu, Toyota. My main requirements are I want one without emissions, the more basic the better and decent ot find parts for.
The reason I am building a diesel bike is to convert the engine to run on Veggie oil, therefore have an environmentally friendly chopper that looks wild!
Any suggestions on the engine. I saw the 50's version Mercedes and they looked basic and simple.
Anyway, opinions appreciated...and before anyone says I already know I'm crazy!

Look to the Yanmar, John Deere, and other lawn/turf tractor motors. John Deere used a japnese diesel 3 cylinder in their 4-series lawn tractors that made 20 hp in a small package.

Isuzu makes a line of smaller diesel engines. I had a 25 hp 3 cyl diesel in a piece of construction equipment (water cooled) that was compact, smooth, and looked like a motorcycle engine.
Another item used a 2 cyl diesel air cooled engine made by.......................Lamborghini.
